|
The CE-0027A 8 channel RS422 splitter unit provides 8 RS422 data and clock signal outputs from either a RS232 or RS422 processed radar data and clock signal input based on the RS530 standard according to a DTE device.
The input data and clock signals may be monitored at the front panel RS232 DB25F connector.
INPUT CONNECTIONS
Two input connectors, each a DB25M are available at the rear of the unit for connecting RS232 or RS422 processed radar data and clock signals according to a DTE device respectively.
(ONLY ONE INPUT CAN BE USED AT ANY ONE TIME).
The CE-0027A will respond automatically to whichever input is used as long as the connector is properly wired.
The INPUT MODE indicator will indicate which mode is in use.

INPUT MONITOR PORT
The input port either from the RS-232 or RS-422 connector can be monitored via a front panel DB25F connector which is configured as an RS-232 DCE device and is available to monitor TxData and TxClock signals

INDICATORS
MODE
The RS232 or RS422 input mode LED will indicate which input connector is plugged in. This connector must be linked correctly.
OUTPUTS
Green LEDs are used to indicate the data and clock signals. The output signal itself is read and buffered so that line faults such as shorts can be detected.
POWER
This LED indicates that the internal regulated 5V supply is operating.
