A PLC that's designed for rugged environments and automotive operation from +10 to +28V with onboard current limiting and transient protection. The PLC features 8 pin programmable inputs/outputs capable of sourcing or sinking 10 amps each. Each input/output can be configured for analog/digital in, source, sink, or half-bridge. Communications is via a standard RS-485 port that supports MODBUS among other protolcols. A multicore processor featuring eight 32-bit cores ready to tackle any high-speed real-time operation. Standard bus protocols include MODBUS. This unit is user programmable and is supplied with free Windows programming software and libraries.

Used with iNODEs on individual server computers the iCONSOLE can be the central operator console for server arrays and mode. Standard ports include LAN, USB, RS232, RS422 or dual 485, VGA, dual PS/2 as well as onboard speaker and dual SD card interfaces. Optional USB host ports. +12V powered. This unit is powered by an 8-core 32-bit realtime multiprocessor plus an auxillary 32-bit ARM applications processor. Intelligent Repeater/Isolator Provides a triple isolated RS-485/422 repeating interface with heavy duty transient protection. Also by operating two CE0719s back to back it is possible to provide reliable communications over long and noisy lines as the CE0719 features an error-detecting and correcting protocol. Raw and standard protocols are supported for the host interfaces and each repeater can also be addressed as a slave device as well as provide selective repeater operation to minimize "chatter". Moreover the CE0719 is programmed for protocol conversions so it can actually be connected to buses with dissimilar protocols such MODBUS and MOVILINK.

A programmable message display for use with PLC contacts or MODBUS or just plain ASCII. Capable of displaying a message of two lines of 20 characters per line or dual 100 segment bargraphs. No practical limit to the different messages that can be selected using a single relay or transistor output from a PLC. Alternatively the display can be directly addressed over RS-485 to display host specified messages or it can simply sniff RS-485 networks and extract current system messages transparently to the network. Equipped with RS232 and RS485 ports plus Hires VGA and TV outputs for enhanced displays are fitted as standard.

ISOLATOR Reduce the risk to your expensive surviellance camera systems from lightning strikes by optically isolating the signal from the camera to the transmission equipment. The CE0070 is fitted with BNC connectors and is simply inserted inline with the camera. This unit accepts the standard PAL/NTSC composite signal and passes this through an optical isolation barrier. The signal is reconstructed and buffered and then fed back out ensuring that any damaging ground currents at the source are not coupled back into the rest of the system. Requires +12V @60ma. |

A high-performance USB interface is optically isolated from the RS-232 side. CE0863 MultiMux RS-232 Multiplexer and
protocol converter Designed primarily as a 6 channel RS-232 multiplexer/demultiplexer the MultiMux is capable of being expanded to any practical limit by cascading additional MultiMuxes. Any port may act as the master port including the USB, LAN, or RS-485 ports. There are various modes of operation which are supported by the processor's eight cores which emulate communications ports. This means that the communications speed and formats are not limited by hardware but are defined by software. Synchronous operations are also possible as are 9-bit data modes etc. Placed back to back the MultiMux makes an excellent Multiplexer/Demultiplexer linking multiple RS-232 channels over a user defined medium such as RS-485, LAN, Radio etc. |
